The first stop for many visitors new to the area is the Inner Harbor. From here, ferries leave for Fort McHenry to see where Francis Scott Key composed the Star Spangled Banner. Also located in the Inner Harbor area are the National Aquarium, the U.S.S. Constellation, Port Discovery, and a wide assortment of restaurants and shops. Moving on from the Inner Harbor, there is Federal Hill, a historic neighborhood with cobbled streets and historical architecture. Sporting events are also very popular in Baltimore, which is home to professional sports teams including the Ravens and Orioles. And for anyone who likes Lacrosse, Baltimore is a must, as it is home to the Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

Work also brings many to Baltimore. The Fortune 500 companies in Baltimore are Constellation Energy, Legg Mason, Vertis, USEC, and T. Rowe Price. Throughout the year, the Baltimore Convention Center hosts a number of important events and conferences, which bring in business travelers. Baltimore is also home to a number of schools such as Johns Hopkins University, The University of Baltimore, and Goucher College.

Baltimore has something for everyone and is just waiting to be explored.
